About Ryan
It’s with a very heavy heart Ryan lost his battle on Monday morning 20th March 2023 with family by his side. Now more then ever I want to help raise money for awareness against this terminal tumour so that no other families have to go through this heartache on losing a beautiful son.
He will leave behind two older brothers and a younger sister. I don’t want his death to be in vain and would like to use the proceeds partially to fund the memorial and research into Glioblastoma (GBM) tumours as more research needs to be done to understand the best way to treat these deadly tumours.
Our family have chosen to
commemorate Ryan's life by supporting the Harry Perkins. Ryan attended the
BioDiscovery centre at the Perkins. He was very fond of his time at the Perkins
and we want to celebrate and acknowledge this connection through on going
donations in his memory.
We will be directing our gift to
the Cancer Atlas Project run by Professor Alistair Forrest. This project sets
out to create a unique data set of individual tumour sequences, creating an
atlas of information to help unlock the next big breakthrough in cancer
research.
